Product Description:
The Vera Cruz blanket is our go-to blanket for picnics, trips to the beach, concerts, or as a great accent throw. These blankets have a higher cotton content and a tighter weave than our other classic blankets, resulting in a heavier blanket with a more finished look. The Vera Cruz blankets are firmer, and initially may not be as soft as our other classic falsa blankets, however, much like your favorite pair of jeans, they become softer and you'll love them more and more after each wash.
Care Instructions:
Hand or Machine wash in warm or cold water. Tumble dry with low heat. Adding softener when washing or a softener sheet in the dryer makes them feel great. Lint will go away after 1 or 2 washing. Be sure to empty your lint trap. Due to the authentic nature of the manufacturing process there may be loose strings. Simply remove these with a scissors or keep the rustic look.

Posted on 4th Jul 2022The colors are true to the photograph. The color mint looks turquoise to me in both! Nice and thick, sturdy and they are serving very well as hangings (2) on the railing of my terrace. They are rigged to tie to the banister top and bottom. I love looking at them instead of the apartment parking lot! Thanks!

Different but Good
Posted on 30th Sep 2021As described, these are different from the classic fluffy style blanket. Something about it feels cooling rather than warming. It is densely woven & has weight to it. It's soft to the touch and this particular color combo is fantastic. The edges are stitched/surged rather than finished. It seems more durable/rugged than the other styles. Better to be used on it, than used as it on you, iykwim.

Posted on 14th May 2020I really do love this blanket. I'm considering buying a second honestly. I bought this for an accent piece in a room, and everyone loves it! Took the blanket outside to have during a breezy afternoon on a hammock. This thing is perfect. Colors are true. Don't dry on high heat though! I accident shrunk it a little bit!
